Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen

Start your 8-day journey from Tangier to Marrakech with a warm welcome at Tangier airport, port, or hotel. Our friendly local guide will assist you throughout the trip. Enjoy a scenic drive to Chefchaouen, a charming town in the Rif Mountains. Settle into your accommodation and explore the blue-painted streets, vibrant markets, and cozy cafes. After a day of exploring, unwind in your riad or hotel.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes

After breakfast, drive through the picturesque Rif villages to Volubilis, home to ancient Roman ruins. Explore the well-preserved mosaics and buildings. Then, head to Meknes, Morocco's 17th-century capital. Enjoy lunch and explore Meknes' historic medina and Bab el Mansour gate. Before ending your day in Fes, visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Settle into your riad.

Day 3: Guided Exploration of Fes

Spend a full day exploring Fes, one of Morocco's imperial cities. Visit the Royal Palace gates, wander through the UNESCO-listed Medina, and see landmarks like Al-Qarawiyyin University, Al-Attarine Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and Chouara Tanneries. Day 4: Fes to Merzouga Desert, via Ifrane and Ziz Valley

Begin your day with breakfast before heading south to the Merzouga Desert. Stop in Ifrane and drive through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you might see Barbary apes. Enjoy lunch en route and admire the lush Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga, ride camels across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, and watch the sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, enjoying dinner and Berber music under the stars.

Day 5: Desert Discovery

Watch the sunrise over the dunes, then choose between a camel ride or a 4×4 drive back to Merzouga. Visit Khamlia for its Gnawa music, explore the abandoned village of M’Fis, and meet a nomadic family in the desert. After lunch, relax at a riad with a pool or go quad biking. Day 6: Merzouga Desert to Dades Valley via Rissani and Todra Gorge.
